It started on the banks of Ullswater. A DIY ice-bath, a portable sauna and a question: why is this so hard to bring home?
Harry and a friend Josh built the first Baltic Bath in a weekend from surplus materials — a repurposed IBC, timber battens, mineral wool insulation, and therma wood cladding from Victory Leisure Homes stock. Harry has used it three times a week since. When it came to manufacturing at scale, the answer was already there: the same skilled workforce behind Britain's leading holiday lodge brands, working out of Hull. Not imported. Not outsourced.
